Their relaxed energy made every session enjoyable, and they were flexible, realistic, and always on time. They provided a clear training plan ahead of time and had incredible observation skills—noticed things I’d never picked up on, like my dogs’ likes and dislikes. Each session built on both mine and River’s confidence, never breaking her spirit, just working with who she is. No E-collars here, just positive, effective training. “Absolutely raving about our experience with Pawsitive Steps Training! When we enrolled our exuberant pup, Rusty, in their puppy training program, we didn’t quite know what to expect. But let me tell you, Aaron and Carmen exceeded every expectation we had, creating a training environment that was as welcoming as it was instructive.
From our very first session, their patience shone through. They were prepared for every quirk and question we had and adapted their training sessions to fit Rusty’s unique needs. Knowing that both trainers brought a wealth of knowledge to each lesson put our minds at ease every time we stepped into class.
Punctuality matters, especially when you’re working with a puppy, and these trainers delivered. Each class started on time and was meticulously structured to keep Rusty engaged: it was clear they put a lot of thought into each session. And despite their professionalism, Aaron and Carmen exude a kindness that fostered a strong bond with Rusty. By the end of the course, not only had Rusty learned essentials like sit, stay, and come, but he had also developed a true fondness for them (and their treats)!
